Ma-Shu-What-Co

A performance talks about getting lost in translation, without knowing the language and cultural environment, moving between two sides – Palestinian and Israeli. About the attitude of a foreigner who can look into many places and contradictory situations and listen to different perspectives stemming from diverse life experiences and about his position in a new environment, building a personal space.
The soundtrack describes listening as the key and initiating essence of an existence as a foreigner.
It balances the fragility of information transmission and the frustration of difficult /or impossible/ understanding.

The performance was recorded on the rooftop of Bezalel University of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. The view depicts the valley of illegal settlements of Ma´ale Adumim and the Dead Sea and Jordan on the horizon.
